Abstracts are invited for Original Studies and Case Reports. Only Original Studies are eligible for the iTASID 2026 Research Awards.

Scientific Categories

Authors must select one primary category at submission (used for peer review and program planning).

Small Bowel Disorders
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
Microbiota and Gut–Host Interaction
Advanced Endoscopy and Interventional Techniques (including, but not limited to, endoscopic bariatric and metabolic therapies, endoscopic dissection techniques, deep enteroscopy, and capsule endoscopy)

Abstract Requirements

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English (title, text, authors, affiliations)
  • Maximum length: 300 words (including acknowledgements)
  • Title: Initial capital/lower case (not all capitals)
  • Do not include references or keywords
  • Spell out abbreviations at first mention
  • Use italics only when appropriate (e.g., genus and species names)

All abstracts will be formatted according to TASID submission standards. Authors are responsible for proofreading and correcting any errors prior to submission.

Correspondence Information

Please provide the following at submission:

  • Presenting author's full mailing address, office phone number, email address, and fax number
  • Author names: first name/initials followed by family name (e.g., Jason Wong or J. Wong)
  • Affiliations for all authors: department, institution/hospital, city, state (if applicable), and country

Review, Presentation Assignment, and Scoring

All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee and will be assigned to either oral or poster presentation.
  • Oral presentations will be conducted on Day 1 (23 May 2026) of the Annual Meeting.
  • All invited international faculty members, together with the Scientific Committee, will participate in the evaluation and scoring of oral presentations.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by email on or before 6 April 2026.

Allocated Presentation Time
  • Total time: 10 minutes
    • 7 minutes for presentation
    • 3 minutes for discussion
  • Presenters are requested to strictly adhere to the allocated time.
  • Kindly refer to your acceptance email for confirmation of your scheduled presentation time.
Presentation Slides
File format Microsoft PowerPoint (2007 or newer)
Aspect ratio 16:9 (recommended)
Disclosure A Conflict of Interest (COI) slide is mandatory
Slide limit Maximum of 10 slides, including title and COI slides
Font Use standard system fonts (e.g., Aptos, Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman)

Poster Exhibition Guidelines


Poster Format and Display
  • Posters must be presented as physical posters only (no e-posters).
  • Poster size: A0 (84 × 119 cm), portrait orientation
  • Poster board size: 190 × 100 cm
Authors are responsible for printing, transporting, and mounting their posters according to the specified dimensions.
